What we collect

We collect the information needed to operate Misoify, including:

• Account details, such as your email address and sign-in identifiers.
• Profile and household details, including a display name, invited member email addresses, and roles.
• Recipes, ingredients, equipment, cooking history, notes, and images that you save.
• Subscription status and billing records when you choose a paid household plan. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by Misoify.
• Limited, aggregate product events that help us understand whether product surfaces are working. These events do not include recipe titles, ingredients, notes, emails, or household identifiers.

How we use it

We use this information to provide the service: authenticate you, save and display your kitchen, let household members collaborate, process subscriptions, keep the service secure, and improve Misoify using aggregate product signals.

ChatGPT and the Misoify app

When you choose to connect Misoify in ChatGPT, ChatGPT sends Misoify the portions of a conversation and tool request needed to carry out the action you ask for. Misoify uses that request only to answer it or make the requested change in your Misoify account. You control the connection and can disconnect it from ChatGPT at any time.

Misoify's connection is authenticated through OAuth and is limited to the Misoify account you authorize. Misoify does not use your recipe or household data to train models and does not sell your personal data. OpenAI handles ChatGPT data under its own terms and privacy policy.

When information is shared

Household members can see the household recipes and shared equipment that Misoify makes available to the household. A recipe becomes public only when you publish it; published recipes and their public images can be viewed by anyone with the public link.

We use service providers to run Misoify, including Cloudflare for hosting, databases, and image storage; identity providers you choose for sign-in; and Stripe for billing. We share information with them only as needed to provide their services. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the security of Misoify and its users.

Your choices

You can edit or delete recipes and equipment in Misoify, manage household membership, make a recipe private, and disconnect the ChatGPT app. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data, email hello@cafyn.com from the address on your account.

Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authenticated access controls and household-scoped authorization. We keep account information while your account is active and as needed for the purposes described here, legal obligations, and dispute resolution.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Misoify changes. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Questions about privacy can be sent tohello@cafyn.com.
